Newman Centers are Catholic campus ministry centers located at secular universities. These centers, often also referred to as Newman Houses, Newman Clubs, or Newman Communities, were established in honor of Cardinal John Henry Newman (1801-1890) [pictured below] who promoted the spiritual support of Catholic students attending secular institutions.
