Welcome to St. John the Evangelist's Religious Education Website! St. John's Religious Ed Program includes: pre-Baptism, grades 1-10, high school Confirmation, sacrament preparation, Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA), and adult Education. Our primary textbook for all aspects of Religious Education is the Catechism of the Catholic Church. We use the following textbooks as supplemental material: Grades 1-8: Christ Our Life series (Loyola Press) Grades 9-10: Didache Series (Midwest Theological Forum) 11th grade (Confirmation preparation): Chosen (Ascension Press) Our all-encompassing goal is to teach what the Church teaches with joy.
