First day of K4!

We had fun using our bodies to make each letter of the alphabet.
Storytime in the school garden!
Math centers! Our number of the week was 1. We read the story, "Knuffle Bunny" and made our own Knuffle bunny in a washer!
Practicing counting as we sang, "The ants go marching."
Everyone peeled, cored, and cut apples to make some delicious applesauce. It was yummy!
Our apple taste test included red, green, and yellow apples!
Since the weather was rainy, we went on a leaf hunt in our classroom!
The weather was finally beautiful on Friday! We went on a Fall scavenger hunt outside.
We had so much fun on our first school field trip! There was so much to do and we had a lot of sleepy children on the bus ride home.
Exploring the inside of a pumpkin. We learned about the parts of a pumpkin and that they float.
We tried pumpkin pie and pumpkin seeds; both yummy pumpkin treats!
The Greenfield Fire Department came to visit. They told us all about everything they use on their truck. We even got to sit inside the truck!

Mr. Oberdorf came to read us a story to get ready for Lent.
Brushing teeth to make them white.
Doing an egg-speramint to see what happens to an egg if it sits in water vs soda. Then we used toothbushes and toothpaste to clean our eggs, just like we need to do for our teeth.
